A fantastic opportunity has emerged for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join an exciting biotech focused on innovation in translational medicine.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced machine learning models and algorithms that will drive the development of novel therapeutics and diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop state-of-the-art machine learning models and algorithms to support the development of therapeutic and diagnostic products.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including biologists, chemists, and data scientists to design and implement machine learning solutions.

• Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, feature engineering, and selection to support machine learning model development.

• Develop and implement efficient and scalable code using Python and other relevant programming languages.

• Continuously evaluate and optimize machine learning models to ensure optimal performance.

• Participate in the design and implementation of data infrastructure and pipelines to support machine learning model development.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and related fields.

Qualifications:

• A PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of relevant industry experience in designing, developing, and implementing machine learning models and algorithms.

• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with relevant libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and pandas.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid foundation in statistics and linear algebra.

• Experience with data preprocessing, cleaning, feature selection, and engineering.

• Experience in designing and implementing scalable and efficient code in a production environment.

• Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with data scientists, biologists, and chemists.

• Experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable.
